Future Topical Updates to the "Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals" - A Workshop

A workshop planning committee will be convened by the National Academies to explore topics of interest related to potential, future updates to the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals (the Guide, 8th edition, NRC 2011). The workshop will build upon listening sessions that the Standing Committee for the Care and Use of Animals in Research (Standing Committee) held during the past year as it has explored various themes to inform future updates or revisions to the Guide.....

28 September 2023 - Virtual workshop organized by the Behaviour and Sensory Working Group of the International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium on 'Home Cage Monitoring in Behavioral Phenotyping: Opportunities and Feasibility'
Join us to learn about major international initiatives to promote the use of Home Cage Monitoring (HCM) as an important tool in behavioral studies and join the discussion on the evaluation of current opportunities and feasibility of HCM as a novel and complementary tool in behavioral phenotyping with particular attention to its feasibility in terms of data/video handling and analysis.
There is no registration fee for the workshop, but you need to register in advance to join.
The workshop should be of interest to researchers, clinicians, data analysts and welfare officers.
